PHNOM PENH - CAMBODIA'S prime minister says his country's often-strained relationship with neighboring Thailand has returned to normal thanks to meetings with his counterpart.

Mr Hun Sen says that after four meetings with Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva, a border territory dispute that had seen their countries' armed forces engage in occasional small clashes has eased.

Mr Hun Sen said on Monday at a graduation ceremony in the capital, Phnom Penh, that 'normalcy has returned to our relationship.' However, he said other issues still needed to be resolved, including demarcating the border, clearing land mines and opening new checkpoints.
