Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra hotel, styled in grand colonial style with wood details and marble floors, has been unveiled in Penh, Cambodia.

Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra is set on riverside amongst landscaped gardens in the old quarter of the city. The 12-storey colonial style hotel features 201 luxurious rooms and suites with Mekong or Bassac river views. An array of accommodations are featured ranging from 121 Superior rooms to 45 Luxury Suites, 23 Junior Suites, 11 Prestige Suites, and one Opera Suite, all marked by glass-walled baths.

Featuring a unique combination of classic European design and contemporary Cambodia sophistication, the new $50 million five-star hotel is distinct for its wooden floors, high coffered ceilings, and wooden latticework.

A range of chic restaurants and bars, an upscale spa, two swimming pools, a sports club and the finest conferencing facilities in Cambodia are some other notable features of this new hotel. The So Spa features 10 treatment rooms, two squash courts, four tennis courts, a So Fit fitness center, the Phokeethra Sports Club, and two pools.

The Club Millésime at the hotel is designed to offer stunning views of the city and the river, and combines outdoor space and sophisticated décor. Nearly 20,000 square feet of meeting space is included. The ballroom and a grassy lawn by the pool have been designed to accommodate 2,000 guests in an outdoor setting.

Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra is close to key attractions, embassies and the central business district. Sofitel is an upscale brand of French hospitality company Accor.
